Homemade Spicy Pho

Ingredients

  • Rice noodles

  • Shrimp (cleaned and deveined)

  • Vietnamese pho broth (store-bought or homemade)

  • Hoisin sauce

  • Chili garlic crisp

  • Sesame seed oil

  • Fresh cilantro (chopped)

  • Sliced jalapeño peppers

  • Your choice of seasonings for shrimp (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.)

Directions

  • Season the shrimp with your preferred spices (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder).
  • Cook the shrimp in a pan for about 3 minutes until tender and cooked through. Set aside.
  • Boil the rice noodles according to the package instructions (typically 3–5 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • In a pot, heat the Vietnamese pho broth until warm.
  • In a serving bowl, combine the cooked rice noodles and heated pho broth.
  • Add the cooked shrimp on top.
  • Drizzle with sesame seed oil, hoisin sauce, and chili garlic crisp for flavor and a spicy kick.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and sliced jalapeño peppers.
  • Mix everything together and enjoy your quick and delicious homemade pho!
