Inspired by my love for bold flavors and comforting fare, here is a pizza to show the way at your next dinner or gathering. This is my take on the viral “Marry Me Chicken” trend turned into a homemade pizza. The recipe combines tender Creole-seasoned chicken, a rich and creamy 3-cheese sauce, and just the right balance of sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and onions piled on a crispy golden pizza crust. Drizzled with hot honey cheese for a sweet-and-spicy kick, this pizza is equally impressive and delicious. And it is surprisingly simple to make, resulting in a showstopper of a flavor bomb that will have everyone asking for seconds!

Homemade Marry Me Chicken Pizza
Ingredients
Chicken breast or thighs
Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
Garlic powder
Black pepper
Smoked paprika
All-purpose pepper seasoning
Sun-dried tomato oil (for marinating)
Butter (for basting)
Garlic (minced, for basting)
Heavy cream
Butter
3-cheese blend (cheddar or your choice)
Sun-dried tomatoes
Spinach
Onions (sliced or diced)
Hot honey cheese (or any cheese of your choice)
Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Directions
- Season the chicken generously with Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and all-purpose pepper seasoning. (Note: No extra salt is needed as the seasonings are already salty.)
- Marinate the chicken in sun-dried tomato oil to infuse flavor.
- In a pan, cook the chicken with butter and minced garlic, basting it as it cooks. The chicken doesn’t need to be fully cooked at this stage, as it will finish cooking in the oven.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, butter, and your choice of seasonings (see caption for details).
- Add a 3-cheese blend and stir until the sauce is thick and creamy. Avoid a watery consistency—it should be thick like a pizza sauce.
- Roll out your pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the thick cream sauce evenly over the dough.
- Add the partially cooked chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, onions, and any other veggies you like.
- Top with hot honey cheese (or your preferred cheese).
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the pizza for 10–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing.
