Homemade Sticky Ribs
Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 springs scallions
- Dry Ingredients
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp five spice
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp red chili flakes
Directions
- Clean and trim to remove excessive fat
- In a bowl add separated ribs vegetable oil, minced garlic, ginger, springs scallions, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and rice wine vinegar
- Add all of the dry ingredients into the bowl with ribs
- Make sure all ingredients are incorporated and mixed well with the ribs
- Place the ribs in a baking pan and pour the remaining mixture on the ribs from the bowl
- Cover the ribs with foil, bake at 400 for 30 minutes, then flip ribs and cover again bake for 30 minutes.
- After those 30 minutes flip again covered and let it bake, after 30 minutes flip the ribs and bake uncovered for the last 30 minutes (Scroll down below the video for a tip)
